Though the situation has improved, I do miss the days when Moscow was green, and not suffocating with smoke.

On Sunday, we went to our friend’s dacha (country house) about 20 km from Moscow. We missed the last train back to the city and ended up spending the night. Never has missing a train brought such pleasant consequences. In the morning we caught the 6:28 train. I took photos the whole way to the station. It was a brilliant start to the day, and I suppose the week as well!
